About Bridges Outreach:
Founded in 1988, Bridges reaches out to the homeless in New York, Newark, Irvington, and Summit each week. This year Bridges Outreach is commemorating 30 years of helping our neighbors in need who are homeless and food insecure. Over the years we’ve met many thousands of homeless individuals and delivered over 100,000 meals and literally tons of clothing. In 2014, Bridges opened Project Connect in Newark to offer case management services that lead to better health, jobs, and housing. In four years, we have helped find permanent housing for over 100 people who were previously homeless.
